RWM Exhibition Stand Design for Novelis

Bella was pleased to be appointed by long-standing client, Novelis to design their trade stand for the annual RWM Exhibition, held at the NEC in Birmingham on 11th-12th September.

Novelis is the largest producer of aluminium beverage can sheet and the world’s largest recycler of used beverage cans (UBCs), recycling roughly 70 billion UBCs each year.

In the UK, Novelis Recycling has been driving the development of the infrastructure for aluminium beverage can recycling since 1990. The company purchases UK-sourced aluminium beverage cans for recycling from its Warrington plant.

The RWM Exhibition provides a platform for businesses to showcase world-changing innovations that are shaping the future of sustainability, attracting 12,000 professionals from across the recycling and waste industry.

In the context of global concerns over the damaging environmental effects of the packaging industry, Novelis was keen at this year’s event to highlight the sustainable nature of the company’s closed-loop recycling process, which they have been pioneering for the past 27 years.

In line with Novelis’ brief, Bella’s creative team created a striking stand design featuring large-scale infographics with powerful statistics to convey the company’s mission of ‘shaping a sustainable world together’ and highlighting the infinite recyclability of aluminium.

Working with local authorities, waste management companies, business owners and community enterprises, Novelis encourages the benefits of aluminium collection by offering support to stakeholders on all aspects of setting up and running a successful aluminium packaging recycling scheme.

The RWM Stand also incorporated a digital monitor, which Novelis used to showcase eye-catching video footage of the fascinating process of UBC recycling at their Warrington-based reprocessing facility.
